ôCongregatpo do Santfssimo Redentorö, Redemptorist Fathers (Brazil) Mission Statement: The mission of the Congregatpo do Santfssimo Redentor (Redemptorist Father), in Brazil, is to preach the Catholic Faith to all, especially to the poor. Being the majority of the Catholic people in Brazil poor, the Redemptorist Fathers have to develop a meaningful social ministry with the poor (helping them in their poverty). Another great challenge is to prepare new native Redemptorists. We have been blessed with a good number of great candidates to the priesthood and religious life among us. Also, our goal for this request is to support the formation of our seminarians. Most of our seminarians come from poor families and they cannot pay their tuition. Actually, our province has 71 Redemptorist priests and brothers. Just now we have 67 seminarians in College, Noviciate, and Theology. On the other hand, our province does not have conditions to provide any help for these seminarians.
