	board of trustees councils mission history record reflecting the Gospel helping individual donors serving the donor	National Catholic Community Foundation serves individuals and organizations wishing to engage in philanthropic activities that support the ministries of the Catholic Church, but do not have the ability to organize a traditional private foundation. Created 1997, we are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization organized under the laws of the State of Delaware. We are unique in several ways: NCCF is national, which means that your funds can benefit charitable causes of your choosing, regardless of geography or diocese NCCF funds are tax-exempt within the United States or internationally through organizations affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church NCCF has a religious ethic. Donors’ funds benefit charitable activities reflecting the Gospel, whether these activities serve the ministries of the Catholic Church, specifically, or the larger community, generally. NCCF is multi-generational. Donor-advised funds can be perpetual and enable philanthropic involvement of the family to pass from one generation to the next. The founders of NCCF are aware that the Holy Spirit is present among generous men and women and that many wish to contribute to the betterment of the world. NCCF, therefore, believes that this philanthropic desire need not be limited to activities conducted under the aegis of the Roman Catholic Church. The Board of Trustees will honor and respect the intentions of the donor, while monitoring distributions from funds created through NCCF, and will not undertake or support activities inconsistent with the Gospel as affirmed by the Roman Catholic Church as set forth in the Second Vatican Council.
